How the hell can I beat the last battle on Fukasawa castle? There are so many troops in the way and also a strong general with 2 defensive towers around the castle. I can beat the troops outside the city just about, but the other general who sits in the middle of the castle always causes like 200 damage with his arrows and kills my last generals...

Could you post a picture. I have conquered the castle but don't remember the battle.

If the goal is to take the castle, just methodically clear them out.
I use 3 melee and 2 ranged units or 4:2 for such battles.
Clear out the enemies outside the castle. When our allied gen is beaten, the enemy will get a morale boost for a few turns.
Concentrate on the northern tower. Batter the castle and city walls, then target the main castle's garrison. Only the garrison. You'll not have time or strength to fight the rest. Hideyoshi's active is good because he can one-hit KO enemies with low HP (less than 15%), Keiji's deliver a free hit and Kazumasu delivers a second hit, at a cost.
I upgraded my units and gave my gens good equipment by now. If you can win the Odawara(?) stage of 1v1 two gens with only one of yours, you can beat this.
