As far as I have experienced, this title is pretty friendly to F2P players. We can get a decent team of 5-6 generals however unlucky you are. The difference between IAP generals and F2P ones is small. Elite units, which are free, have big impact on the performance. Though some tricky missions in Tenkabito can be annoying, most of them are very doable. The only factor that limits my progress in this mode is the resource required to build castles. So, yes, I agree that this is the easiest... at least for now.

"Don't count the chickens before they hatched", - they say In the previous game with the same title, namely GCR, it was extremely easy to complete first campaigns and Expeditions. I recall I conquered Germania last time I played it in one week. Yet, GCR is anything but an easy game in the long run.

Well the last game that I played was European War 6: 1804 -Napoleon and this game is immediately hard afther tutorial. I am expecting update soon with more gold generals , units and mehanics for selling fragments of useless generals (green)etc.

I'm sure I'm much less experienced in ET games than most people here (I've only played EW7), but I've found Tenkabito not so easy. Sure, I put many early battles on auto mode, but now I've expanded to 75+ castles: - I'm broke and have 6 or 7 castles blocking my progress, each requiring 80k or 160k coins, - enemy units are level 12 to my level 5 and I've had to repeat some battles (I'm not using food so far in Tenkabito or campaign).
So I feel I need to grab some equipment for my generals, perhaps finish chapter 6 of the campaign and buy some Ban-kin units. Wait a few more days and rank up a general or two.
I'm also trying to avoid spending Ban-kin, so far I've bought only 3 horses and one treasure, all for a total of about 650 Ban-kin.
So it might be too easy for a veteran, but for a F2P casual player like me it has some challenge - which is good obiviously.

Maybe we'll go into Korea or something in the future? Or have an entirely new mode where they'll pile on some new challenges, they've done that a lot in the last few games.

In EW5, although the rush was real, but enemies became more advanced with age the further one progresses, no?
It's one thing to fight English longbowmen with slingers and another thing to fight lvl 12 teppo with lvl 5 teppo.
Plus, to progress, promoting to the next age takes time and resources, on top of construction and gifting projects. This is also why GC:S feels easier.
Another thing is that we can easily summon strong and usable gens from the onset. These can fight just like that. Other games require more investment to make the gens more usable.

Good point, it could be a real pain to progress if they hadn't given us 2 powerful generals right after Introduction.
