Update on my progress

First of all- you need to find a macro program that fits your device. For my case, a macboook- there is only one free software which I was able to find. MacroRecorder. I believe there is a window version too and you could use that. The app's logo is basically a red circle with a white thunder symbol in the middle. If you know of any better macro programmes, sure. Go ahead and use it.

Note that MacroRecorder can't record the dragging motion, so if you have a rather bigger map, zoom out as much as possible to avoid dragging.
Also note that the key to having a good and consistent macro is to keep your save in 1 round- meaning that you should not make your macro click the next turn button. That creates so many variables and randomness. 

There are 3 steps into macro farming:
1. Building a good save (A.K.A. farm) in EW4
2. Recording you playing through the save with your macro programme
3. Editing the recorded macro to increase efficiency (optional, but highly recommended. This is why I enjoy MacroRecorder, as it allows me to edit the macro specifically.)

Step 1.
There are many things one may grind for in EW4... and here is a list.

- Refresh
- Rank
- Nobility

Medals: Use Poland 1775 to conquer every country (yes, even your allies) except for Britain. Let Brits aggressively expand into your land... don't let them take your stables though. At a certain point where you think is enough, you start taking back the land and surround Brit cities with an army of Armored Cars... I recommend you to intentionally dodge from stealing Brit farms unless they're directly next to a building. Try to farm the Brits in the cities until the Brits spawn a triple line infantry to defend- as it has the most HP. you can settle for line infantry or grenadier level 3 as well. You only need 4 single-level armored cars to surround the cities and be able to kill them in 1 round. However, you need to continue expanding your area of influence into the Brit lands, so having a good Cav gen on a armored car + Sophia on a siege artillery would help greatly during this process, increasing your rank as well. Your overall goal is to surround as many Brit cities as possible and have as many units with higher hp as possible trapped in them, create a save. Take all Brit farms when you're ready. Hit each city with 4 armored car attacks, and they should be dead. You just record yourself doing that for step 2. Also, this farm produces good amount of refreshes too.

Refresh: Build the RR farm. If you didn't reach the battle of Waterloo yet, you can instead setup a conquest run on US1775, starve Brits, lower their generals HP, save, and macro that. This is a better choice than setting up a macro for Fire of Revolution.

Rank: Create a save with an armored car and a bunch of weak units near it, and do the killing spree. Make sure your general is able to oneshot them.

Nobility: You don't even need macro for this, just an autoclicker. Use chain the beast farming method.

Step 2: You just record your macro. Only make motions that are necessary and clear, and also don't click to quickly.

Step 3: Edit the recorded macro, and improve efficiency. Reduce the waiting time for the next motion just enough so that it still works. (for ex. dont make your click too fast, you don't want to attempt to select the next unit when battle is happening)

Very important tip if you're gonna use MacroRecorder: Setup hotkeys. Especially the replay hotkey. I set it as the alphabet r- I just need to click on r- and it will restart the macro from the start. You want to insert a motion at the end- for the program to click on r- and it will loop itself indefinitely until external influences are applied!
