BATTLE OF TENNOJI

I used multiple healing items to do this. Having multiple range generals is a must.

1. Clear a line to break through first group of enemies. You want to get yukimura to the bottom of the second row of enemies around turn 3.
2. Defeat initial general in front at start. This will trigger tokugawa sending the troops around him forward.
3. Send one cannon north and one south (muskets or archers work too).
4. Use yukimura special to charge behind the line of high health units. He can then move and attack tokugawa.
5. Tokugawa will auto move to the north end of the line and be immune from attack for rest of turn.
6. Hit tokugawa with a range attack. He will move to south end of line and again be immune for rest of turn.
7. Hit tokugawa with a range attack. He will move to SE corner and be immune for rest of turn.
8. Hit him one last time with yukimura which causes tokugawa to retreat for the win.


I had to feed yukimura healing items but it’s a straightforward battle when you know the gimmicks.
