Which Item sets are f2p? Meaning that it shouldn’t have an item in the libraries of IAP Generals or in paid battle pass. Figured this might be useful for people who don’t want to or have the means to pay.

Tenka Fubu Resilience - I think Of the other 4-piece suits, 2 or 3 can be acquired of all but Niten Ichi-ryu, most offer worthwhile bonuses at 2 pieces. There are also some 2-piece suits that are available F2P. The Best in the East The Three-Day Reign Daughter of Lightning God Inoshishi Lion of Sagami Hime Musha Hyakuman Isshin A few of these are dependent on purchasing the item or forge design in the treasure pavilion, but the items aren't there consistently. I don't know if they show up randomly (that's the case at least for the Five Islands Mount) or if there's something else that triggers them.

Resilience is f2p, but First Bloom Caddy is the most expensive item sold for broken blades. In other words, endgame stuff...

I personally bought a book (don't remember which) because I have rather few treasures. I don't think it makes sense to spend them on magatama. We have limited BBs and can't farm them until we get level 6 generals, and even then slowly (incidentally, I suspect that himes will eventually be a good source of BBs). Meanwhile there are a lot of ways to get magatama and ban-kin (once you've unlocked the special units there's no reason to spend them on anything but magatama).

Ok Magatana can be farmed with other ways, so should I buy the caddy for tokugawa Or should I leave it and wait for mori

In my opinion, this store has three equivalent things for f2p: a caddy for the Tokugawa set and two horses for the “best in the east” and “three-day reign” sets. In what order to buy, decide for yourself. Personally, I bought the item for Tokugawa. The item from Date's set is tempting, but f2p still can't collect the full set, so this is the second stage. Perhaps some things from other sets in the long term... Besides the usual route of extra green generals fragments, I get resources through giving all 6* gifts to Oichi.

Not sure if this is the right choice, but I decided not to give Oichi the gifts preferred by other himes. I figure it will take longer to get to 6 stars but eventually I'll get twice as many fragments for my gifts.

Assuming you’ve got one of each, and you give them all to Oichi, that’d be 9000 favorability, if you give them to those who actually want it, that’d be 14000 favorability. So about 55,5% more efficient that way. Now you don’t get each of them at an equal rate. You’re guaranteed to get red coral on the first expedition level every time, and I think scented pouches drop more frequently too. Though that’s hard to prove, let’s just say that it’s roughly 60% more efficient that way.
You need 750000 to max a princess out. So 750000 if you’re only doing Oichi, and 4500000 if you’re doing everyone except Yoshihime (or Garasha). So it’ll take about 3,75 times longer to get to the point where everyone’s maxed. It’s hard to say exactly how much time it’ll take till you break even and start making profit beyond that because I don’t know how many princess gifts you should be expected to make.
I’m honestly fine taking the route of giving everyone their preferred gifts. I mean there’s two more conquests coming out sooner or later and I can probably stay in the black on broken blade income even if I spend it weekly on Magatama since I think I could get to like 800-900 total rolls in a month or so, which is when I should have my greens maxed out. So I’m not sweating that much. Matsu could even be kind of handy in a fight in conquests. She’s the only F2P gen with Logistics Expert and she’s got a pretty solid bond with Toshiie, who’s a pretty decent general. And I find myself using a LOT of infantry because Elite Samurais are everywhere and more cost effective than swordmasters for me.

No she‘s not only with Logistic expert there‘s another one blue main musket general - Niwa Nagahide have lv.3 LE but need 4 stars to unlock.

I'm a firm supporter of spending broken blades on magatama. I've done so since the very start of the game, and I feel it's slowly starting to pay off. Every 10-pull or so I'm now getting the fragments to finally 6-star one of my green generals, and at the moment I get about 30-50 broken blades per 10-pull. That, combined with the other pulls I do during a week, brings me to about zero. As we get more maxed out generals, we'll gain more broken blades per pull and our investments will slowly start paying off 😁
