I have already save enough Magatama for my next gold general. My main team right now is Maeda, Shimazu ( gun general ), Chosokabe and 3 gold general: Hideyoshi, Tokugawa and Hojo. Right now, I'm confusing between Akechi, Date and Mori: + Akechi: I've already save enough material and money for his sword, armor, horse and his equipment. His special unit is cheaper than both mounted archer/ musket. But he lacks of legendary story, so finding his fragments to level-up his rank is a nightmare. + Mori and Date: both of them have skill cause area damage. And legendary stories, so level up their rank are easier. While Mori is multirole general, Date is specialized for musket unit. Both of their special units are cost me an arm and a leg. And you must upgrade their unit too. Please help me, thanks alot. Ps: I always want to hire Suzuki, a musket general. But he is lack of his legendary story, so it's hard to find his fragments to level up his rank.

Don't buy Akechi (you will get his fragments sooner or later anyway). Between Mori and Date I would pick up Mori first. His active is better and his special unit is cheaper. It is problematic to evaluate generals without taking their special units into account.

Akechi is mediocre. I have him and don't use him. Mori is a good option, but with all due respect to Stoic I'd go for Date. Just because, with Chosokabe and Tokugawa, you're loaded at archer (same as my lineup), but your teppo options are comparatively weaker. That and mounted teppo is probably the best unit in the game.
This does depend on you having unlocked or planning to unlock the special units though. There's little point in using either Date or Mori without their special unit.

In Conquest, you're able to unlock Mounted Archers within Mori and Imagawa lands, while Mounted Teppo still seen far away. If there is a benefit to fielding gens on their preferred unit, Motonari wins the round.
But the point about MT being valuable because teppo options are few is also on point. We oddly enough don't have that handheld cannon teppo unit, unless it's a legitimate IAP unit, and not many options.
Mitsuhide is comparable to Kazumasu, his purple counterpart. If you have the latter, you're already in a good position. Having Shigehide is even better. All in all, Mitsuhide has strong rivals and substitutes, so not as important.
For the few night battles, Mori's active remains at 2-hex range while Date's is reduced to 1-hex range. If you want an edge at night for some reason, Mori is the way to go. I've also used Mori in desperate situations to defend key points, and obviously he performs better since archers can fire back in many cases. In terms of defending key points, Mori makes more sense. A strong defence can be a good offence in some cases, like the Honnoji Incident.

It doesn’t really matter as long as it’s either Motonari or Masamune. Those two are the best generals in the game. Heck, they might even be better than the IAPs overall. And you should totally get the mounted archer/teppo even if you don’t have either Motonari or Masamune because those things are busted. I used Shigehide on the mounted teppo before I got Masamune and did fantastic with it. Yoshihisa would do great on it too.
I’d lean slightly towards Motonari in the short term because his active is generally stronger due the short cooldown. It also has a pile of weird features that are situationally useful too. Like being usable at 2 range at night, being usable on ships, completely ignoring defense, completely ignoring damage reducing gimmicks so it wipes out those 3 HP ashigarus in Honnoji. Masamune’s active can’t do that stuff.

May I ask, if I roll out Mori, which kind of armor and weapon are suitable for him, and ship too? Thank you.

May I ask, if I roll out Mori, which kind of armor and weapon are suitable for him, and ship too? Thank you. Well, the Hyakuman Isshin set is geared specifically for him and it gives him +1 level on his active when both are equipped, so definetly get those. And I have him equipped with Bencao Gangmu and some random gold horse with valor for now, but I'll give him the Inoshishi set once I get him to 6*. Whatever ship that isn't the base one, that part doesn't really matter much.
