Luigi rated Bastico as List substitute in his comment in the 2024 Jan update post, but after I bought him I suddenly realized Rokossovsky roughly has the same offensive power like him, and Roko’s full upgrade cost may not be too different than Bastico’s considering he is a full price gold grade gen but lacks the necessary AA skills, so I wonder if Bastico can be an alternative? Any thought?

I think to max Basticos DMG Potential, you have to let a crapper inf suicide and then Bastico will have a the edge over rokko. Otherwise they are very similar.

Bastico, Rokko, and List are on the same level. The only thing that why Rokko considered overpriced is his 2 useless skill than other's 4 slot.
For me it's Bastico > Rokko > List, in a very tight margin. One is because their price, though the gap is not that far for 2nd tier tank gen. Rokko over List because i can still put rumor on Rokko (for defensive event like hard Polish event) but can't on List.

Without considering price, Bastico > List > Rokko.
Rokko only has AA+PL then your choice of explosives or rumor. List has this with blitzkrieg. Bastico has this with retaliation.

Bastico ≈ List > Rokossovsky. Both Bastico and List have the 3 most important tank skills plus a decent skill. Rokossovsky only has those 3.
