This is a huge debate so far as I have seen. I want to know all of your opinions. I'm sure some of you have tested this and played much longer than me and have already had the resources to test most of these. If there's any on here you think is better or if one drops later just click other and explain why.
Manstien - He hits very hard on average one of the highest attacks consistently and now has a lot of variety of his other two skills. His biography adds a large bonus to critical damage and attack +18 and +35% respectively. A huge contender for first place. Downside is IAP.
Manstien's ability values - Inf 4*/5*, Art 3*/4*, Armor 6*, Navy 1*/4*, Air 4*/5*, Mobility 6*
Manstien's skills - Panzer Leader LV3, Blitzkrieg LV3, Armoured Assault LV2, (replaceable skills) Tide of Iron LV3, Plains Fighting.
Guderian - His base skills are amazing and worth the medals for any F2P player. His ability to hit as hard as Manstien for most of the game is very good. His only difference is his elite biography gives him a much more consistent critical hits able to clear loads of units in one turn. Depending on his other two skills you can easily destroy cities.
Guderian's ability values - Inf 3*, Art 1*, Armor 6*, Navy 0*, Air 3*, Mobility 5*
Guderian's skills - Panzer Leader LV2, Blitzkrieg LV3, Armoured Assault LV2, and two free slots.
Rommel - Two of his base skills are questionable and situational. A great second in command for his 40% discounted price. He is very good with upgraded skills any place with enough desert he will shine. A strong contender for some of the conquests with his high critical damage and faster mobility on elite units. The downside is he doesn't hit as hard in most situations.
Rommel's ability values - Inf 2*, Art 3*/5*, Armor 6*, Navy 2*/4*, Air 2*, Mobility 3*
Rommel's skills - Desert Fighting LV1, Crossfire LV1, Armoured Assault LV2, and two free slots.
Wittman - A fan favorite for sure high damage the best piercing damage by ignoring armor. He's has tide of iron as the only situational skill. He can hit as hard consistently as Manstien, but he hits a little harder when you consider them both at relative health below half. He can clear most defense in one hit more consistently as well. His only downsides are him being IAP and not having a biography to do more on elite units.
Wittman's ability values - Inf 1*/2*, Art 3*/4*, Armor 6*, Navy 0*/1*, Air 0*, Mobility 4*/5*
Wittman's skills - Ace Tank LV5, Panzer Leader LV3, Blitzkrieg LV3, Armoured Assault LV2, Tide of Iron LV3
Abrams - Very strong general with a great rumor replacement. Moving a square gives 10% increase per square up to 50% causing a lot of damage when kept mobile. Hits harder than most when the full anticipation stacks. His downsides are when he can't move and that his skills are locked especially since blitzkrieg could easily be replaced with inspiration.
Abrams's ability values - Inf 3*, Art 3*, Armor 6*, Navy 0*, Air 0*/3*, Mobility 4*/5*
Abrams's skills - Break the Encirclement LV3, Anticipation LV5, Panzer Leader LV3, Blitzkrieg LV3, Armoured Assault LV2,
Montgomery - Generally lacking a lot of skills most of these other generals have. Elastic defense is highly questionable I would have been more satisfied with something else even close to this like architecture. It would at least give him a great purpose in being a fantastic city defender. His elite unit biography is the main reason he's on here +2 Mobility and +12 Attack is nothing to scoff at.
Montgomery's ability values - Inf 2*, Art 2*, Armor 5*, Navy 1*, Air 4*, Mobility 6*
Montgomery's skills - Plains Fighting LV1, Elastic Defense LV1, Crossfire LV2, and two free slots.
Thank you all for reading and hopefully we can add some insight and ideas for who's the best and how others are better in different situations. This can help us all better complete some harder conquests, scenerios, events, etc.
