Anyone knows what the two watchtowers do or how to activate the flooding gimmick stated in the dialogue?
I destroyed the two when the Mori enter the province of the second castle, but there's no change. The NPC left behind doesn't do anything as well.
By the way, cut through the forest when passing through the forest with the ninja unit. If you do not, you'll make contact and it'll alert the Akechi forces. The musketeers defeated one of the target units quite easily.

It's very simple. Don't overthink it, just zap the towers immediately.

My problem with this stage is on hard mode. The incredible low self-preservation sense of the boats you need to defend is annoying.

I had no idea that Motoharu just won’t give chase if you bust the towers. It doesn’t matter that much since he likely won’t be killing you on normal mode, but it might be slightly beneficial in hard mode.

My problem with this stage is on hard mode. The incredible low self-preservation sense of the boats you need to defend is annoying. I used Ankokuji Ekei, Ujiyasu, Kuki the Shima pirate, and Motonari. Motochika (3-hex) was my Reinforcement. At night, your ships have 2-hex range. Use it to attack from afar. The main goal is to physically block enemies from approaching. Heal weakened ships and land on the island to attack from land. |
