Where does this thread exactly belong to? game modifications wc3? idk
Mao Zedong:

Guerilla IV (+8 dmg when commanding infantry) Raider IV (24% chance of no counterattack when attacking units as infantry) Supply II (+4 HP per turn healed) Plain fighting II (+10 dmg when attacking on/to unmarked tiles)
Price: ~1550 medals, china academy
Now...
Chiang Kai-shek:
Marshal (280hp)
Infantry *** Tanks: *** Arty: *** Air: ***** Speed: **
Skills:
Fortification IV (+16 HP heal to city per turn) Camouflage II (-10% received dmg from arty and air) Organisation II (+30 hp to commanded infantry unit when HP below 50%) Econ Expert II (+10% gold income from city) Desperate III (+18 dmg dealt upon counterattack)
Price: ~2550 medals, china academy
What do y'all think about this? I think they would be decent commanders, and if added to conquest mode (especially 1939) they would make the easy Japan conquest harder. -mao could be a good infantry gen candidate (competing in a similar niche to yamashita) and chiang could be a VERY tanky air commander that you plop close to frontline (competing with goring)
Should i change anything? please respond with suggestions.

this general isn't particularly good, his main purpose i hope would be is to make mongolia (1939, 1942, 1950) wc easier and japan (1939, 1942 - japan i think is neutral in 1950) wc a small bit harder

I guess he could be added to the 1943 conquest (and any Japan-related campaign missions in Indochina in that time period, before Yangon fell back in Allied control) commanding a Japanese light infantry unit (he led the indian national army to fight the british, he worked with the japanese, died in 1945)

they are meant to replace el generico general in cuba conquest 1960 and 1970 (che guevara in 1960 only, he died in 1967)
Also cuba should have mountain & forest terrain as well as be on NATO side in 1950 conquest (batista regime lasted till 1958-59)

I don’t think political leaders are such a great idea. Why not have Churchill as a navy guy, or Hitler via infantry, or Stalin via…whatever Stalin was good at militarily? (He was awful militarily).
Franco, Antonescu and Nasser did rise in military ranks. I do think more Latin and Asian generals should be offered: I think a campaign as Japan branching from a first invasion of Manchuria and then one going to the mainland eventually into Siberia, and another branch to Pearl Harbor, then Singapore, and ending with the capture of Australia is warranted. Simultaneously an American campaign starting with defending the carriers are Pearl Harbor and then to either Midway, a Soviet invasion of Manchuria and then an invasion of Japan, or island hopping, then Okinawa and then Japan might be a good idea.
One feature I’d love is if Berlin and Moscow, the ending mission was changed based on which route you take.
Alas I don’t expect to see any of these things happen.
