Do reward generals take up a slot or do they come with an extra slot? Couldnt find any information about that and I am close to my cap. Currently thinking about getting Arnim, just cause I like him, but not enough for him to take up one of my 30 slots.

Yes, they're. Taking Arnim will make your gen slot into 31.
