Hello, Been playing for sometime, but ran some thought regarding general’s ability in navy. If an army is made of siege on a ship then which general I should pick?

There are mainly two dedicated and competent admirals, Kuki and one other guy. Both have Pirates as their optimum unit and max navy adaptability. This is followed by good gens with high navy like Otomo Sorin (I think), Mori Motonari, and a few others.
There's probably one or two more gens with naval skills, but not very good at all.
If attacking from the sea, these two admirals followed by those with high naval adaptability. If you can land troops, then the gens should land. It also depends on the ships you use. If it's the basic ship, I think you fight at 50-75% of your strength on land (or that of the strength of the unit without the gen's adaptability). If you use ships which are dedicated to sieges, even gens with low or no naval adaptability *may* do better than if they were on land (excluding arty troops).

Kuki on good ship shoots like crazy to the city walls, so on conquests when you have water around, even small lakes he is really cheap , but skillful pirate, my must have on every conquest.
