So even dominance doesn't work on air force, then i am quite regretted when getting him. I am a f2p, and with this pace of update, with 2 more air units, the chance of getting the Hind is even lower( i only have 5 frags since Hind update) so using Yama on a Hind is very niche. I also struggle with Akagi and Enterprise(lv 2 Akagi and haven't unlock Enty). Maybe i should sell him and get the 4th tank gen.

I am not 100% sure about Dominance but I think it doesn't work with Air attacks either. I wouldn't recommend to sell Yamamoto though. Understandably you can't make a full use of him right now, but in the long run his purchase should pay off. The loss of medals after dismissing a general (and such an expensive one as Yamamoto) isn't entirely justified, imo. Make note that you will get 15 fragments of Mi-24 and Typhoon as milestone rewards for playing Challenge conquests. You never know your luck and maybe unlocking these powerful units is not as far away as it seems from today's perspective.

I am not that optimistic about those 2 units, since the hind is too weak to use on lv1, and upgrade it will be a pain in the *Auto corrected*. Typhoon, i only have 1 frag, and getting 14 frags is a real challenge when game update more naval units.

I was able to unlock the Typhoon about a week ago and use Rundstedt, with Imperial Eagle which gives a nuke bonus, when i can't use Yamamoto. It is a Big help in Pacific events so far, i used it in part 6 Pacific, and Enterprise in 7 to reach northernmost city and parasnipe.
The Hind is still locked but am only one fragment from unlocking this one. All elite units unlocked were by grinding events and have not purchased fragments via pay2play nor use of medals. Patience is indeed a virtue.
I am hoping the Hind will also be as useful as the Typhoon and Enterprise...and to advance the Stuka zu Fus, as it closely assimilates the Self Propelled Gun skill, specialty skill only found on one IAP commander.
I'll post my elite unit progress here if asked.

Could somebody advise whether Naval Assault skill (Yamaguchi) works when launching rockets from Typhoon. Description is a bit misleading.

Could somebody advise whether Naval Assault skill (Yamaguchi) works when launching rockets from Typhoon. Description is a bit misleading. Naval Assault skill works on neither aircrafts nor rockets, only on Direct attacks (Battleships or Submarines)

Anything that can’t occupy a grid can’t enjoy buffs that aren’t specifically for them, only Hind’s strafing and troop-spawning fortresses are a bit different, so airforce/air raids, missiles and nukes are unaffected by skills that buff “troops” “units” or “ally”.

Was Rumour nerfed this update or earlier?

Was Rumour nerfed this update or earlier? It wasn't Rumor itself but rather some countermeasures helping AI to survive. On hard difficulty there is a buff that allows to remove Rumor under certain conditions. It was introduced a couple of months earlier.

You already know that Bock came out recharged, I was thinking how useful it would be to create a commander designed solely to accompany him, in general the only essential requirement would be crowd tactics so that it accumulates with a war machine, and incidentally the damage of the assistant would be compensated, a win win, but then, inspired by Narnia, I wonder how brutal the damage would be in a single attack if magically said assistant also had an armored army group apart from crowd tactics

Synergy with Bock is best created by deploying a general with a high critical chance. Guderian with PL (+medal) & lv 5 red ribbon & biography bonus, reaches the 100% threshold. He would always benefit from Bock's crit damage boost thus providing a flat +40% damage increase to Guderian. This far outweighs the benefits of Crowd tactics. For the 4th & 5th skill we take Inspiration and IV.

Id like to see the damage Simo on Hawkeye alongside Bock could do. As, I believe, Any crit. Chance over 100% converts to crit damage.
I think i would put the excellence medal on him, and play around just for kicks.

Yes, I already imagined that an assistant with crowd tactics for Bock would not be one of the best options, here the thing is more about the hypothetical case that said assistant, apart from crowd tactics, has an armored army group (calls to assist a unit inavtiva to attack), so both bock and the assistant (let's say messe just as an example) buff each other and launch a single devastating attack, and in the process bock can launch a second attack since he is not spending his turn although I simply imagine that it would be better if Bock or a general like Guderian had an armored army group or simply, as you say, that Bock buffed a general like Guderian and that's it.
