Shingen says something like: «Let’s start our attack from the east and meet up with Masakage at Fumata Castle». Well, you do start from the east of Fumata castle (and it’d make sense for Masakage to come in the middle of the level and not the end), so you might interpret that as «go attack that immediately». But if you attack Fumata castle first you lose. |

Well, you do start from the east of Fumata castle (and it’d make sense for Masakage to come in the middle of the level and not the end), so you might interpret that as «go attack that immediately». But if you attack Fumata castle first you lose. Oh. I read it as it was intended, but I want to discover the trigger for the appearance of our reinforcements. Unless I place Katsuyori or Masakage on a DoP or Mortar, I can't take last castle down myself. Additionally, what does the trigger at Kuno Castle do? The garrison will attack the rear once you pass by them, and this makes it even harder to take the 1.6k HP castle.
Who do we put on arty? I don't think there's a way to crack the city in time without an arty gen.
Edit: Switched Katsuyori's Naginata Cav for the DoP and he succeeded. In 6-1, if unequipped, Katsuyori gets a lvl 12 Hatamoto while Mochizuki Chiyome gets lvl 12 Shadow Ninja (ranged ninja). Guess he'd get Hatamoto if I didn't stick Naginata on him. |

If you send a unit to attack Kuno castle and damage the general there it will prevent them from retaking the middle castle thats how I bet this mission

You shouldn't have to use either of them on artillery. I know I didn't.
Also, I'd still give Chiyome an actual archer unit. Shadow Ninja is pretty garbage even if she gets boosted by it.

I ran out of time upon approaching the 1.6k HP city. Plus, I didn't think to try to cause Katsuyori to be spawned with a Hatamoto for this campaign. He had naginata cav for most tries. Then again, both F2P gens were left as B- or even C-class gens, which was probably why they had output issues. |
