The best part about him is his active. His skills don't match his base statuses (counter inf-focused skills vs higher cav points).
Plus, I still have no clue how the House of Hauteville effect works or how to check for it.
After fixing his stats-skills mismatch, his active barely brings him up to 3*.
(+) He is a gen with a unique skill and a good pairing of skills that focuses on dmg reduction (important for counter inf against cav and ranged troops).
(-) His House of Hauteville F skill passively activates, lowering an attacker's morale is pretty bad.
(-) His statuses, even after upgrades, is very bad and low. I gave hin the Counter Inf skill up (+12 inf) sword, and it just balanced out his inf with base cav points (ignoring the skill points from rank upgrades).
(-) Although the Shield Master skill is useful, there are probably better skills out there and it is also not very useful. The poweful Halberds and Tang troops can be used, but cannot take advantage of the skill, for instance.
