I know its not the most important thing in a game, but I was think ing lately, should I focus on Mitshuide (and getting his 2 equipment pieces), which would take long time, or Shimazu Yoshihisa, an excelent support general. Or some other general? I already have Date (with hi armor and mount) and Suzuki (with Oda's Tenkabito).

It depends. Yoshihisa's active is more flexible while Mitsuhide's active can set him up to deal a critical attack with high morale in the same turn.
Note: Mitsuhide's active ignores castle walls, I think.
If you need an attacker, Mitsuhide. Though his set is needed so that he would have the same crit damg up effect as Yoshihisa. If you want a musketeer gen with good supporting elements (active + anti-fortress passive skill), Yoshihisa. As individuals, Mitsuhide > Yoshihisa, because being able to hit fast and hard is more important.
However, when you pair Yoshihisa with your main attacker(s) like Obu Toramasa on Sanada Cav, that person can attack instead. In a team, your main attacker getting a chance to hit twice with Yoshihisa's supporting fire is possibly better than two individual gens (Mitsuhide + main attacker) fighting.

Don’t rank 6 either of them, neither gets much from that and it takes 150 frags to go from rank 5-6. It takes 300 to go from rank 1-5, so that 50% as much to do that for barely any benefit, especially in the case of Yoshihisa.
You want to have both pretty juiced up, and Mitsuhide levels a little more than twice as slowly as Yoshihisa does on average from just magatama so daily missions should go to him.
Teppo are really good in this game, so these are pretty important guys actually.
Btw, I don’t really recommend Tenka Fubu on Shigehide. You can feasibly get him to the second highest valor in the game with Raikiri, Purplelaced Armor, Hizatsuki Kurige and Katori Shinto-ryu Heiho. You want two guys with almost maxed valor for conquest, and all that gear is actually useful for him.

Kazumasu can be an alternative to Akechi, precise and strengthen assault have good synergy. Unfortunately, he doesn't have mastery of shooting, so it's more of a luck based damage output and his active has a huge drawback. Once you have Akechi's equipment, he's clearly better. Shimazu is probably the best support general thanks to his active but his other skills are less impressive.

As you pointed out, his active has a pretty big drawback, so it isn’t something you want to use on nearly every opportunity. And because it levels by reducing the cooldown it’s not really THAT worthwhile to rank 5 him either. So that’s just 180 frags to get him to where you want. Magatama can mostly cover for that. Just drop a few flames when he’s close to ranking up and you’re good. Mitsuhide is pretty critical to rank 5 because at lv4 Powerful Assault instantly puts him at high morale whereas it doesn’t on lower levels. It means he hits WAY harder for like the first two turns.
