I definitely prefer replaying campaigns over conquests. I either do speedruns or treat the campaigns as conquests and conquer the whole map (this is especially fun). Austro-Turkish War is actually doable in 3 turnsβI believe this is the fastest campaign (maybe some of the very first ones are also doable in 3 but idk).

Campaign speedruns or campaign conquests. Maybe because conquest is too exhausting and draining of mental energy, as you need to consider your actions with multiple fronts and it also takes many rounds to beat. Especially more annoying with allied AIs always getting beaten around by enemy AIs, and enemy AI keeps spamming forts to delay your conquest. IK about the Austro-Turkish War in 3 turns, I achieved it too a while ago. I believe I posted it in the thread where we talked about the Austro-Turkish speedrun? But as of the time when I was doing this, the stupid Ottoman infantry general would not stop blocking the bridge (I retried like 10 times then gave up) so it took 1 turn longer. |

Yeah I struggled with that too until I found out if you build a fort on the west bank of the Danube the ottomans wonβt block you. |
