I would to introduce as a pilot project the npc theme to the various role play wars/campaigns.The way it might work is for the game master of a particular game to build and create events and post them but they would not appear under his name,they would appear under an independant entity.
For example in the theo wars,the game master has put Germany as a neutral non-playable country,after 20 turns he decides Germany will act independently of the existing faction and strike at a player so in the thread Germany would have its own avatar,it wont show the game master (ofcourse the game master is the one running it but it wont show that).
It's good idea for game masters to not actually be a full time active participant (so members arent players and judges at the same time) and not take sides but this option gives them a way to bring extra elements and spice the game up.
Anyways if you want to try it I need name of country and link or post to pic that you want,I'll test it out and see how it could be implemented.
