I want to mod EW4. However, I have no clue how to mod.
Can someone please teach me?
I want to do things like:
- Customizing all 200 generals (editing images, names, skills, stars)
- Adding more princesses if possible (maybe 9th and 10th princess?)
- Making custom campaigns (editing map, units, buildings, terrain, name, objectives, rounds for victory)
- Making custom conquests (same as above, just except rounds for victory and objective)
By the way, I'm on a macbook M2 and have an IOS phone... so I don't think I can play apk files...
Bluestacks doesn't seem to support M2 either.

Welcome lizardpianist - nice to see you here. Ok, usually we mod for android. The only way I know for Apple products is: If your device is Jailbreaked (rooted) you can edit the installed files on the fly. This is very comfortable, because you don't need to make a installation package (apk) and install the game to test your modification.. Due to the limitations of Apple, I don't think there is another way. |

Anyway - step1: download an unlocked apk and have a look inside (apk is an archive format).

The only way I know for Apple products is: If your device is Jailbreaked (rooted) you can edit the installed files on the fly. This is very comfortable, because you don't need to make a installation package (apk) and install the game to test your modification.. Due to the limitations of Apple, I don't think there is another way. Nah, ain't no way I jailbreak my device. Too risky |

I know there is one for Android but I do not know for Apple. Usually when one opens developer options there is a choice called OEM unlocking. This unlocks the bootloader so one can be able to modify the system files. There is a second option that I heard about where you can download an app similar to playstore and BlueStacks. While I would have to do more research, we may be able to find you one so then you can both have EW4 and MT manager. It is okay if you believe jailbreaking your device is not the best option. Many companies will cancel your warranty or may even cancel your plan if they find you have altered with the system files. I apologize that my modding capabilities are limited to android. ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ is correct that Apple is restrictive in alterations but I do hope that you enjoy your device regardless if it is an Iphone or Android. |
