Should I go for a new general ? I really want Chennault cause I m really bad at auto conquest … Focus on improving the generals you already have. They should provide enough quality once maxed out and equipped with good enough ribbons.

You definitely have more than enough generals. I am not even sure you really need Chennault But, as I understand your last question, you need them for a specific task, namely to farm challenge conquests on auto. And it is the trickiest part. You, probably, can complete some 3* states like USSR or USA just by deploying all your generals and letting them go. But from a practical perspective it doesn't make any sense because you need to win under certain conditions. For example, you have to complete 1956 challenge conquest under 20 turns as a 3* country to grab all rewards. No way AI will ever do it. So, I am afraid, the game demands that you play conquests with your own hands. Otherwise the results will be disappointing at best.
