There are a few triggers on the enemy side.
1. The SW and SE corners will reveal reinforcements. Somehow, in my first run, they didn't show up, but did in subsequent runs. What actions can I take to prevent their entry?
I refer to the mixed legions of Horoshu, Elite Cav, Hatamoto, etc.
2. When will the enemy storm Shoryu-ji? It took a long time in my first run, but came more quickly in subsequent tries.
I refer to Kanbei and Hideyoshi ordering an all-out attack on the temple. What can I do to delay this?
3. It's hard to tell apart enemy reinforcements from the starting centre, SW and SE positions. Clear one direction out and more will spawn. Just need to keep one legion alive.

This one, I think is rigged at round 5 at most. Normally, it should appear when either Yasuda Kunitsigu (your allies at the left) or Saito Toshimitsu (your allies at the right) dies. If you don't help, either of them will die by round 4. If you help Yasuda, then Toshimitsu will die by round 3-4. But I've noticed something interesting if you help Toshimitsu. If you help Toshimitsu survive beyond round 4, then assuming that Yasuda doesn't die, he will always be at low health. He then dies at the end of round 4, without the enemy attacking him even though he still has very low health and is still alive( you can't even see it). It happened quite a few times. And always at the end of round 4. Also, don't bother saving Yasuda anyway. If you kill all 3 units of Hashiba Hidekatsu's unit, 3 more Yari Samurai will spawn. You can only kill them after the SW and SE cavalry reinforcements arrive. 2. Kanbei and Hideyoshi will order an all out attack if the SW and SE reinforcements are completely destroyed. To prevent this, kill all but one cavalry unit. I think this should be the trigger because I killed the last cavalry unit they had and it got triggered. 3. The enemy reinforcements are not hard to keep track of. The center reinforcements are all Elite Samurai and the Eastern infantry are all Kagemusha. I think it's the same even in this one: kill all and more will spawn |

Whenever I stayed to help Yasuda, the SW reinforcements don't show. They showed when I helped Toshimitsu or attacked Hideyoshi directly.
