Well, I have bought him(konev) explosive level 5, it makes a remarkable difference, combined with rumored brooke level 5. I pretty have much upgraded max konev/brooke/guaderian, omw to get chennault. I still have an empty slot on guaderian tho. In case I get yamaguchi, is carpet bombing good? Because I have got the medal with it. Thanks ! Soon enough you'll unlock Chennault and no-one is better for Carpet bombings plus Industrial expert combination. And Purple star medal buffs both Carpet bombings and Industrial expert skills Yamaguchi has a very unique skill among Fleet leaders. It increases his attack by 40% (it is equivalent of Armoured Assault on tanks) and (at the same time!) heals him. Just incredible. Unfortunately it works only when he commands Battleships. So, in my opinion, this skill alone is enough to build him as a Navy general not an Airforce leader.

Not new to the game anymore, but I was wondering something about my guaderian. I have 7 really good generals, Rommel/Guaderian for tanks, Brooke and konev for artys, Yamaguchi and Darian for naval, and Chennault for air/economics. More than the half have all their slots level 5 and completed, tho I’m still debating what skill I need to complete guaderian. On one hand, I would place rumour on him, and each times he attacks a city, he will probably rumor the general placed in it. That being said, he also one taps lots of soldiers (no utility to this skill) and with 2 artys with rumor (and 3 if we count degaulle in conquest) I hardly see this skill often used. On the other hand, I find inferior victory quite interesting since I can update his overall damage on my A41 centurion of at least 20%, and I already have inspiration on my guaderian. Thoughts ?

Leave Rumor to other generals.

I am still sitting on the fence when we are taking about this issue. On one hand it is extremely tempting to make an ultimate destruction machine out of Guderian. In this case PL/AA/IV/Inspiration is the best way to go (unfortunately you can't get rid out of Blitzkrieg). However I still have some reservations about this build. We have to wait until Modern War challenges are out. The pattern in campaigns is always the same - you can't use more than 6 generals (and not always on units we like). And there's one thing we know about Modern War, namely Rumor is the key to success. And a very powerful combination Blitzkrieg/Rumor makes more sense in this case.

What would be a great addition for the 2 empty slots of Malinovsky?

I’m seeking to complete both my last empty slots for Darlan/yamaguchi… what would be good recommmandations? (I assumed explosif for yamaguchi) Wolfpack is the most popular pick for Darlan. Fleet Leader is a must for Yamaguchi but the other slot is split between Explosives, Inspiration, and Sailor. Make your own judgement.

I agree with Erich von Manstein. Wolf pack compliments Darlan's Leadership skill and even more so, on a ship like the Richlieu. Yamaguchi should have FL, because of his Naval Assault skill. Too bad he has Air which is more a handicap...but so is Konev's Raider skill and it doesn't hamper him much either. So, yes, Fleet Leader for Yamaguchi and which ever other skill your other naval commanders may need a boost in, ...even carpet bombing, if you need AC commanders.

I would personally choose FL and IV because more often than not you will put Yamaguchi on elite Battleships and preferably Richelieu lvl 5. But that depends on how close you are to unlocking IV.

Same, ever since I can do coordinated strikes with the Richelieu, IV is the obvious choice besides Fleet leader. This way, every unit performing an attack within range of the Richelieu profits from the additional damage and 80% chance to trigger is quite high.
I left his 5th slot open until I could get IV since I don't really believe in temporary skills. Explosives might be good if Frontier or Warzone still need to be completed. Sailor can yield more damage output but is harder to use.

Inspiration lvl 1 is a good temporary solution

Inspiration lvl 1 is a good temporary solution You're right, this is actually good already at lv1, higher chances of getting high morale never hurts and the medal losses while waiting for a better skill are minimal.
