Hi,
Im currently in 1944 campaign (Axis - Defence of Tunisia, Allies - Marching to Italy both missions chipping away at my sanity), have 1103 medals and I`m having analysis paralysis on who should my next general be.
My current lineup: Axis - Guderian, Leeb, Yamamoto Allies - MacArthur, Govorov
Thanks for the advice.

Allies: Definitely tank gens. IIRC, the best were Rokossovsky, Monty (especially on HT), and Patton (especially on HT). I think Vatutin could also be used as a medium tank gen.
Axis: You could consider Rommel for heavy tanks while Guderian takes medium tanks. There is the choice of Yamashita or Rundstedt for pure inf since you have at least one of each, though Rommel should take priority to take advantage of 1 HT and 1MT in each battle.

Guess I`ll go with Patton since I`m one general down on allies, thanks again

fifosal , Patton is nice but it is admittable that he is expensive and accuracy strike and lv1 panzer leader hurts a lot.(I still bought him though) Monty is a cheaper choice but ace forces definitely hurt more. Therefore I'd recommend Rokossovsky since he is cheap and has good skills(anti-armor is better than you think).
