Hi all, any idea how to pass battle 5 of tokugawa clan story? I cannot understand a pattern on how sanada moves and he always gets me after 6 rounds. Has anyone passed this? Thanks

You need to place a 2nd unit to the right, top right, or bottom right of the first unit. This prevents him from using his active. You also need to space out your troops, especially the first units so that his guaranteed follow-up attacks don't wipe out your troops.
Although inf is most effective with preventing movement, other units can also cause this effect.
He follows Ieyasu.
It's like a puzzle that you can repeat, by the way. You should march in anti-clockwise direction.

Do not line up troops, use them to break up his speed and mobility
Use old man Ieyasu, his ability to turn your units HP from 1 to 2 is godsend against an enemy who hits twice
Also run counter clockwise

There is also this video if you want a step by step guide. It's long but only the last 5-10 minutes are relevant:
