You know this isn’t how it is right? All purples have the same drop rate. It’s just that probability says that it’s way more likely that you’d have some guys get a ton of frags and some guys fall a bit behind than everyone upgrading at the same rate. WHO those guys will be is going to be random though. I couldn’t get Hattori Hanzo for like 1000 rolls while some people here got him pretty much instantly. And Magatama got me a Sanada Masayuki a lot. I think in the short term like this it’s no big deal if you’ll have to do stuff like Katsuie on archers. The only reason I say to get Musashi maxed out first is because rank 6-ing him has a massive faction-wide benefit when doing challenge conquests unlike every other general in the game. The one problem with Musashi is that new players could have some troubles with completing his special chapter on hard. Chapters of Mori, Chosokabe and Date are easier in comparison. His LS is 4 puzzle levels and 1 real fight. You can just food through that if you really need to. |

Masamune, but if you’re in the early game you might want to try to get Miyamoto Musashi and max him out first. How would you compare Masamune to Tenkai (Mitsuhide's skin)? |

Masamune specs on a much better unit. That we can get to Lv. 20 now is game changing for the Mounted Teppo. That right there still makes him the best general in the game. Oh and he can run through forests with ease. I also like regular Mitsuhide slightly more in conquest because Powerful Assault is better for sniping down garrisons and being instantly put at high morale is great too. You also really can’t get Tenkai easily since Mitsuhide’s LS is tough overall and you need a lot of damage to win the last one in time. So this really hurts his availability for Tenkabito/Campaign. Tenkai’s definetly great there, but you should already be strong enough to handle the rest of the game so far if you can get him. |

I think it is very difficult to compare these two. One is DD another a support general. They work excellent in synergy, btw. But the influence of Date Masamune on the course of the game is difficult to ignore and surpass.

Like when I got Mori, I thought that was it, he's the best field unit, then you get Mr Only Need One Eye to Aim and voila Turns out teppo with cav-like mobility and aoe dmg is really great |

Where is the horse of Masamune? It says its in pavillion. But I can't find it. Five Islands is weird in that it ocassionally pops in and out of the store. So you’ll find it. It’s also more expensive than the other horses. |

+1 to Date being an awesome general but with the arena and invasions I use Tokugawa(skin) more often than before.

What is the most optimal equipment for Date? I currently use Sword and treasure of Nobunaga for the 50% stability and Date's horse and armour for the active skill upgrade. I couldn't upgrade the equipment beyond lvl 3 currently(out of gold). I need some suggestions for Musashi and Li Rusong.

I use 2 items of Tenka Fubu (a sword and a scroll) and two items of his own "One-eyed dragon of Oshu" (an armor and a horse). Musashi can be equipped with different items. I use two items of Hideyoshi (I don't use him much) a sword and a horse, his own armor and a scroll of "Dragon of Echigo"). And there are many decent items to equip Li Rusong as well. Two items of "Tiger of Kai" should be quite handy. I usually use healing items with my cavalry as well. |
