We can trade our Medals for the yellow thing that upgrades the medals. Frontier didn't provide enough, and I don't think replaying a cleared mission gives the yellow resource again.

I'm left with my Air Medal at lvl 5, and 2 of the yellow resources. Of course, Air is not as important, so this question would've been dismissed from the onset. But even if it were the inf or navy medal, I would still want to completely upgrade it.

From what I can see, it's:
1020 Medals for 120 yellow items
540 Medals for 60 yellow items

I'm unsure if there is an even better trade deal.
What do you think?

If you have a good enough lineup with your generals, I’d say yes, especially the navy one f2p.

If you have the tank/arty/excellence, of course prioritize those. But I think these make the game quite boring, so outside of record speedruns I never use them anymore

Damagewise its impact is quite close.
