How do you beat all enemies in time?
I usually hit Yi and his admirals with under 100 dmg. I could deploy my remaining best admirals, but I have 800+ HP on Yi Sun-sin left after losing again.
He automatically retreats early. Is it because I sank too many enemy ships?

Are you trying to stop them at the coast? Your units in general hit harder on land, on hard I held back from the coast and let them get ashore to give myself a couple more turns before they got out of range, I was able to just about finish them off before they got clear of the coast and I was able to make short work of the rest with just a couple units. I went hard after Yi as soon as he got in range, because even on easy he took forever to kill.

You need to pull him in land, surround him, and make sure you don't lose a red capture point, otherwise you will not kill him on time in sea

Thanks. This was a big help.
In the end I put out my best land units and ignored naval adapt. I pulled everyone into the mountains and out of the water. In the northern city, I had to put two units to the north to stop that attack. I pounded Xi and beat him eventually on land. His ghost sounded the retreat on turn 11, not sure what the trigger is.

I’m so stumped. I’ve tried fleeing into the mountains like this thread suggested, and tried blocking the coast I saw a different guide use, but nothing works. The killer is having to hold both cities the entire time, since it leaves such a tiny margin for error. No matter the strat, Sunsin requires so much attention to take out, and it happens too slowly when I have to divert 1-2 units to protect the western city, which still often isn’t enough to block the northern army. No matter how I allocate my troops, something is left undermanned.

There is no doubt this is a tough level. No sure what else to suggest as you have tried alot already. On the Northern/Western city perhaps try your best unit on its own immediately North of the city with a healing item. Once your ally holding the city is destroyed, seize the city. This takes some luck as it needs the enemy not to seize the city on the turn your ally is destroyed. This may give you one more unit in the south. Otherwise, I can only suggest picking generals on the ships with skills to beat Yi as this is the hardest element.

I sent the given gen, Yoshihisa and Tachibana Muneshige to the NW city, I think.
The arty, I kept in the mountains, the rest held out in the SE city.
I used weaker gens to challenge myself, but I did plan for their bond effects to help. Honganji Kennyo, Suzuki Shigehide, Shimotsuma Rairen, and Tadakatsu.

Tried your suggestions to great affect. Focused more on gen’s with TS draining skills (though I noticed this level significantly nerfs them), and finally got lucky with the NW city. Final remaining obstacle is finishing them off at sea, which is hurt by having no naval gens. I’ll see if I can snap in Kuki without giving up too much land defense.

Still stuck, the success rate on “just hoping the NW garrison falls at the exact right moment to take the city first” is so small I have to slog through a ton of wasted attempts to get a single legit shot.

That's frustrating. I hope you catch a break soon.
