So I finished this up. Not very difficult, the only sorta tricky one is the one where you have to escort a caravan fleet. You’d probably want to have an understanding of how Navy works going into that one. There’s remarkably few generals involved in this one compared to the other two. It’s basically just Motonari for a while, then Takakage and Motoharu, then Terumoto and Takeyoshi. So you don’t have to mess up your gear as much this time.

One would expect to spend less time, even with reruns in these modes, compared to a Challenge Conquest. Seems proportionate, IMO. In Mōri, there seems to be one or two field engagements that one has to go all-out from the start, and still risk losing. For example, in Chapter 3 Gassantoda and the battle after it. Most of my troops were lost, and even Motonari risked dying. Edit: Mori Chapter 4-5 - Don't send all of your entire army into the white circles. You'll lose automatically.

I have a problem with Chaper 5-8? Where you need to travel Kikkawa Teuneie Watch the pattern of the movements. The cav around the western portion and the unit around the southern area moves once, hold for a turn, and moves again. This applies to some other units as well. Between the light towers, move only when the archers are holding position. Beware! They can hit up to 2 hexes.
