Since the latest update, we can simply claim the rewards of a run. But is this the best reward? Will RNG give us something better or worse if we run them manually?
These are questions that I think are important.

For sure I continue to clear Expeditions manually. Especially taking into account that I have to play manually only the final battle of Kimotsuki. The rewards for completing Expeditions automatically are not rewarding at all.

I'll continue to play manually for higher rewards. Likewise it is autoplay until the end of Kimutsuki. Not least to get the Hime materials for broken blades.
It is a worthwhile option to add and if I have no time some week in the future it will be useful.

I could care less about most of the rewards (himes aren't really the biggest source of broken blades), but 105 ban-kin is nothing to sneeze at, and suddenly coins and iron ingots are relevant again. Once I've unlocked and upgraded everything, then maybe no, but for now it's worth it.

Oh I wasnt playing those for a while so I welcome the claim function. Sure manual play gives me more but since time is of value as well, I will gladly take the rewards right away.

Apparently, one who has cleared Expedition before cannot enter it while offline. Or maybe this applies to all.
It's a bit odd to me as to why I need an internet connection to clear an Expedition. Whether it's manual or automatic, I don't see a reason for this change.

It is very inconvenient to switch it on and off to start an expedition. |

Since I am lazy, I manually clear the last four Expeditions, and auto the first three.
