Adding two new horsemen to the list: Model and Kuznetsov They're very interesting generals for sure. I am a bit upset about them reworking Kuz to give him naval assault over leadership (I feel that it should be unique to only Guchi and Cunningham) but whatever. Guchi still serves a powerful role as second best navy, and his air skills are still extremely useful for emergency situations. His versatility is very nice, though I can't keep my head in the sand and pretend he would be better in navy compared to Kuznetsov. As for Model, he's Rommel's build but superior. With damage reduction on allied terrain (which is pretty easy to manipulate), and a buffed counter against enemy generals, it can prove to be very powerful against late game generals (and it isn't reliant on terrain). Personally, I am going to remove Rommel and use Model, as Model offers something far more unique which Rommel cannot, and Rommel's bio is probably one of the weakest of the German trio. I am looking forward to using Model and Kuznetsov.

Adding two new horsemen to the list: Model and Kuznetsov Both are great but I don't like that Model has a panzer leader, basically I'm forced to turn him into an offensive general, it's a shame because his unique ability combined with level 5 defense ribbon plus fortification would make him very tough, and even worse if you add fighting spirit for the love of art but his damage capacity would be so low that it's not worth it, it would have been better if he had AA, at least I would have had the option to make him offensive, balanced or defensive.

The leader skill isn't an offensive skill, it just does more damage. Higher damage is useful for anything, and you can still make him more "defensive" by running fortification. However, I would run Model with hyper offense. Crossfire paired with his unique perk can allow for some extreme plays that Rommel could never do, and if you run fortif, you can take even more damage and still have good damage, or run insp for the defensive buff of being in high morale. Regardless, Model is hyper offense like Rommel, you just have to choose if you prefer more offensive dmg or more defensive/counterattack damage. I think Model can do both just fine, while Rommel is more your turn offensive (we're basically forced to run mobility ribbon on him, lest he get left behind.) For me, defensive skills can make some of the most hyper-aggressive plays. Crossfire is such a fun skill that fits this doctrine, and Model's new skill hightens this greatly. Removing leader removes the amazing damage, making him more annoying to deal with rather than a genuine threat. I think his preset skills are fine, there's nothing better you can really do, outside of making another new skill that is just broken.

Quite sad ET chose to do Rommel dirty this way when it is totally unnecessary (considering the upgraded Model would be the 9th 6-star tank among all the Germans and 7th if only F2Ps are considered). Also, imo letting him command a lvl 5 T-72 would kinda exempt his need for AA because the tank already comes with 30% dmg buff and ignorance of dmg reduction effect on target from terrain, that would already narrow the difference down to less than 18% (the extra amount from the skill medal), let alone the tank’s base atk is 112 at that lvl: higher than all older elite tanks despite being the 2nd cheapest among them.
