I was wondering if my gens lineup is good, so far I got
Infantry: Duke of Wellington, Karl, Massena
Cavalry: Blücher, Radetzky
Arty: Napoleon, Kutuzov
I'm saving up for Suvorov then Murat and maybe Washington if I want to swap one of them out from time to time, does this seem smart?

Radetzky is the weakest gold cav. He must go after you get Murat and Dabrowski. Get all army aura generals first, prioritize Murat and and one of Mahmud/Alexander. Nelson for navy. No Washington. Suvorov is specialized for Crimea, where you can deploy him in levels that ban other units. He, Robert, Fatimah, and Grant each have their own pros and cons. Pick 1-2 of them. If you want more generals, although not very necessary, Lan for cavalry, John for artillery, Treville/Victoria/Sakurako/Hood for navy. |

Yea I agree radetzky is kinda mid, love him from a historical standpoint but in the game sadly he sucks bad compared to blücher, is dabrowski really that good though? He's purple and granted I may be wrong but aren't the gold gens supposed to be the best? Even if he has the aura same with Alexander and mahmud, I've used both of them in conquest and yes they seem good but it just worries me because ones purple and the other is blue or am I just crazy lol
Edit: What do you mean how Suvorov can be used when other units are banned? Am I just not far enough into the game???

Am I just not far enough into the game??? Since auras stack in this game, every attack aura general is worth getting. It's natural to think all gold generals are better, but that logic doesn't apply for many ET games. Every ET game has some lousy top tier generals and solid lower tier generals. I don't know where you're at right now but there's a series of ridiculously hard challenges at the end of the game called Crimean War. Some of them will ban generals of a certain unit type (for example they'll ask you to not deploy any cavalry general), so you need someone with high battle ability and good universal skills like Suvorov (or the others I mentioned). |

I'm at the russian campaign right now, it seems hard as of now but I've been Dutch grinding to get my tech and generals leveled up, I've got 3 stars on all US and all but the last level in French campaign, the austrian one is just ridiculous with the Italian level. My generals are all on either prince or Duke and they all are lieutenant colonel besides massena who's at major, which I do notice alot because massena is always the one I have to pull back before the others in conquests

The meta grinding method is Trafalgar auto, but since you haven't reached that yet, try Athos auto. Upgrade your aura generals to Prince and max out their aura skills. Buy all healing items and put them on your aura generals. Upgrade your generals to M General for second item slot. |

Oh well that's way better lol you get trafalgar when you get to the British campaign right? I'd assume so considering it's not in French and there's no Spanish campaign but when do you unlock the British campaign?

Good idea to have Johann Von Habsburg, He has exclusive item from Scenario rewards in Austria Campaign(Hard Mode). Just got him(stock) after getting his item from exclusive rewards. |
