Hey guys!
I’m currently struggling with the starting mission of Unifier of Japan, barre of Komaki and Nagakute.
It seems completely unbeatable— I easily manage to defend the city in the left part, but it’s totally impossible to conquer the city in bottom right corner. I’m both out of time and troops by this moment.
My generals for this are Musashi (lvl 3 with some low-level equipment, troops — sword master lvl 11) and Mori Motonari (lvl 2 with mid-level equipment, troops — mounted archer lvl 15). Sometimes I try Li Rusong with lvl 15 Liadong Cav, but that doesn’t help a lot.
For other troops I use old Hideyoshi, Takigawa for teppo and some purple inf generals.
So my question is — do I just need to upgrade my troops further, or there is some event that I can trigger? Or maybe some kind of tactic to use (something more promising than just using combat rations). I’ve already completed easy campaign and all hard missions of Battle of Sekigahara — so this confuses me a lot.

Your gens sound too weak. You may want them to be of a higher rank because there are also beneficial skills.
This mission is based on pure brute force, IIRC. The SW can usually be held, but the trouble is holding the east and NE.
Since you have Musashi, it may be possible to spam enough inf ashigaru to have the Sword Saint bond buff, if you have all three and equipped them.
Don't be too reliant on rations, otherwise you overestimate your troops' ability to clear missions.
