Make sure you max out the following tech before updating at all costs!
Light & Heavy Infantry
Light & Heavy Cavalry
Heavy Artillery
Small Ships
Your tech level will determine the initial level of some unique units. Upgrading them will save you between 25-75 fragments per unit, translating to 21-71 raids, 40-140 raid tickets, or 7-24 days of raiding.
It's worth it, even if you trade medals for coins to upgrade your tech!
Max ALL of these out! Attack, Defense, HP! All of them!
If you don't know where to grind coins and medals, Trafalgar is the best medal-grinding place, and Elba (in the Hundred Days challenge) is the best for coins.
