It sounds really good, but keeping it salt-free would be difficult. You can post rules and maps and so on but I think we should start later on Keeping anything salt-free is impossible nowadays. Even my cake

This sounds really cool, but since it sounds so ambitous I think we should wait a bit and keep this thread open so others can contribute thier ideas (provided Bismarck is ok with others adding thier ideas).

I think this thing will take a lot more time..that is why I am thinking how to keep this thing salt-free . We need a lot of rules. And only very experienced players since they actually READ the rules

Hey I am not experienced but I read the rules. I don't think its fair exluding inexperienced players. Maybe the size of your nation depends on what your experience is?

I think a test on the rules, administered by PM, which you must pass to play seems fair.

New concept: Feudalism As a tech, it will allow any player to join a feudal government and operate a territory as his own, capturing land and organizing his own land. The leader of the national government will recieve x% of the lands income and the new player will recieve y%.

My original idea was to create a unit of measurement for the map and square it for starting territory so that everyone starts with the same amount but this is also a pretty chill idea.

New concept: World Peace Because the game would technically have the ability to go one forever even after tech is maxed I have the idea to end it through peace. The reason it could go on forever is because new players can join so global conquest is pretty much impossible. Anyways, every country would have to research and declare neutrality and then World Peace Conventions (maybe a new name if no one likes). Of course, there will always be some jerk who wants to hold everyone up by not declaring neutrality and holding conventions, so the simple option is to conquer him so that the only last aggresive nation is destroyed. WPC would likely be under the Future Age tech trees. Is this a good idea or no?

There has to be some limit to them?

Infantry is obvious, but anything else? Secondly, how many countries? There has to be some limit to them? Good questions. Units will replace each other over time, getting progressively stronger (add extra point to dice roll *will explain combat later*) so if you research the next version it will replace the last. Or maybe customizable equipment based on tech but that is way too complicated. Anyways, with the current model it could end up looking like cavalry to mounted sergeants to tanks to blah blah blah or legionnaries to swordsmen to sergeants to blah blah blah. And if we do the test to play thing there wont be too many countries. That, and in late game it would likely be a few very big nations and early alot of small ones, so it would be harder to start the later it is, kinda like in irl.
