This whole war was honesty really badly designed. If everyone wants to move on, I'm willing to I think we should keep going, but, I can't believe I'm saying this, the Borg should've had a bigger advantage. They may start off with a gigantic military, but due to the first uses of the dice system it was screwed over, and he has no way to rebuild. Maybe if he had a spacedock, or, nice suggestion for STW2, we had boarding parties. It's the Borg, they'd rather board the ship and assimilate everything than flat out destroy all inhabitants.

You still have Cubes. A lot of cubes Eh, 8 cubes. And I didnt have any spheres in the first place so the event is kinda moot. You didn't lose ANY cubes according to the correct calculations. Did you read my post?

Jean-Luc Picard, it's the other way around. The Borg shouldn't have any casualties because according to my calculations, the 20 cubes were a combined TWO HUNDRED SIXTY BP. Max tech, remember? So a cube or a battleship is 6 BP in space battles, plus +7 bonus BP per battleship. I think in all of the battles so far that I re-calculated, the highest required roll was like a 9 (ten dice can only go from 60 down to 10). The Feds didn't stand a chance against these autowins...

If we want to continue the war, OK. We've had one drop-out (Anders), and two who seem less than satisfied (Jr and Xakire).
I personally feel like that is mostly on me for making a war on a bad concept. A Dominion War STW has more potential for some balance etc.
If we want to play this war through instead of picking up the new one, Lemme know here and now

It's up to Junior, really. If he drops out, there's no real way to keep fighting without the Borg.
And also... to give time for Jr and X to think it over, why don't we hold off this phase for 1 more day (if we're going to continue ofc)?

Bismarck, do we launch STW2 or not? Keep in mind: STW2 has two fixed ally pairs, and Ribbentrop-Molotoving. STW2 has powers varying from the Dominion (probably 20) to the Miradorn (1) STW2 has bigger, more OP countries, but the NPC Borg are placed such that they will be drawn to the most OP nations by the "algorithm" that determines their motion. STW2 has a TON of countries STW2 will not have the 5 battles a system thing. STW2 will have a "Neutrality" tech for countries that start small without an ally and are small. This is to prevent the Fed and the Dominion from digesting countries like the Ferengi and the Gorn.

It'll take me time to make the map (too complex to explain what I want by message)

www.dipwiki.com/index.php?title=Star_TrekThis one has kinda a crappy map but it was meant for Diplomacy Star Trek. I hated the imbalance espically for thr Cardassian Union, because the Fergeni had only one obvious choice to attack, and that's the Spoonheads. Anyway, thought it would be maybe helpful as a starting point for you if you want it. I didn't used it myself.

I like the multiple battles for a system thing and I think this is pretty well designed and the war seems to have served well as a test run so you know what to fix. Also I'm not "less than satisfied" I have just had some trouble with been able to find time to do my turns, though I should be more organised now

If you all desire to continue then alright. Im sorry about my gross miscalculations. However, I just recieved a 103 degree fever last night and vomited all over myself. So probably inactive for a tad, lol.
