I already decided that TW14 will last exactly 75 phases, and that it will incorporate politics (2 players struggling with Campaigning actions for control of the country by elections) and espionage (moves that manifest in events and whose precise nature is known only to the one who made them and the GM).
I must decide when this war will be (time period).
Then, I will decide the size.
I appeal to the future players to pick a time period.
Options:
1871-1946
Germany was just united, we explore how the world goes with struggles internal and external throughout. No sides. Many big powers in Europe and out.
1945-2020
WWII has just ended. America and the USSR are locked into their courses, with both candidates affiliated with one side. Other nations have 1 candidate in support of each side, and the side of the nation is determined by its ruler
2016-2091
The World today, but all alliances are off. No sides at all. Dominant powers are USA, Russia, and China, but there are many more.
1480-1555
The rulers of Spain, Portugal, England, France, the Netherlands and more fight both inside their nations and out while colonizing the world outside of Europe, which will be made up by me. No sides
285-360
Rome has just split into East and West. The new empires, and many smaller nations, form and break alliances while fighting internally against rivals. No sides
1740-1815
France, GB, etc. fight throughout Europe and the world. No sides, but eventually there will be a "Napoleon" event that will make one of the top 10 countries into a juggernaut.

A: Let's not get Salty before the war even begins
B: The 1740-1815 will not be purely Napoleonic. An event in 1790 will make it Pseudo-Napoleonic.

It's fine if Khurram hadn't gotten his fill of Napoleonic era cannonballs shot into his mouth yet. jk I voted for the Romans and the early Colonization times (1455) btw. I feel like those two has ample, ample of unexplored territory in terms of TW concepts related to settings.

I go with the 285-360. After having many TW set in 1800+ I would like to see something set way back.
