This is an appendix to my original France 1798 guide detailing how to get Sophia, Fatimah, and possibly Maria and Sakurako without Generals. Thus, I will only give modifications to the plan here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1242/Generals: You don't have any. You use tavern generals. Archduke J (Weilburg): Double Heavy Cav, goes to Austria and Transylvania Junot (Paris): Double Heavy Cav, goes to Britain, then Holland, then Sweden Mercer (London): Double Heavy Art, goes to central/North GB, then Sweden Bubna (Weilburg):Double Light Cav, Goes to Oldenburg, then Spain MacDonald (Paris): Double Guards Cav, goes to Austria, helps in Transylvania, then South of Russia Kollowrat (Weilburg): Double Light Art, mops up forts, not mandatory Poniatowski (Warsaw): Triple Guards, helps in Russia Bennigsen (Warsaw): Any cavalry you happen to have, Triple Guards if you don't, helps in Russia. Yorck (Berlin): Triple Guards, covered for injured Moreau in East Prussia Strategy Changes: Moreau works in Prussia. You use Desaix to invade Russia, and leave Transylvania to MacDonald, Marmont, and Archduke J. Don't try the Kiev-Moscow attack, since none of the Cav you can get has high enough HP. Keep in mind that northern Russia usually has less forts than the South. Map:     Foot note: I got Wellesley, but he turned out to be unnecessary |
