Urgh. I was doing alien campaign 4. I made all the preparations and by turn 11 all the red cities were rid of his health, and I had 4 nuked ready to be fired. I've wiped out and taken the top left and the bottom right city, so there was only one city on the middle left and I was ready to win.
WHAT?
? Why the nuke does only 112 damage?? I failed 3-star by so close margin.
Before I dropped the bomb I made sure the city health are completely gone by attacking it with Eisenhower, and yes I only saw one damage. So city health shield cannot be what erased the nuke damage. I am absolutely cluless. Here are some of my hypotheses:
1. Missile defence reduced nuke damage significantly (it was lv 4)
2. Tower provides significant air shield around 1 hex. (It was right next to the tower. I don't think this is the case because fighter does normal damage to tower..)
Any thoughts?
