Hello, I have troubles to get Lan from America 1775 conquest (playing as US).
I am able to finish it in 26 turns, but I still have only 500 years Asia.
Generals:
Isabella at heavy artillery (5 stars art)
Sophia at siege artillery (5 stars art)
Sakurako at guards cav (5 stars cav)
Also have War Horse and Snare Drum.
At the very end, I always go with Jackson into a market, and try to raise resources.
Last attempt was turn 26, 5200 gold, 2010 iron, 9300 food, and still 500 years Asia / 800 years America
Campaign progress: finished Eagle, Coalition, and HRE, beginning Eastern Overlord. Rank Levels 47 and 66, 254/420 stars.
Am I just on the edge? Or I need much more gold/iron? I simply cannot imagine how to make this conquest faster...

Hmm.. not quite, but you got to have a good mixture of all. I received Lan in UK 1812 (excerpts from an old guest post of mine enclosed). Maybe try your luck there. Use s&l quite a lot... I received Lan playing UK in American 1812. Figures:
- Turn 21
- Gold 2585
- Tools 993
- Food 6097
- Campaign Stars 145 / 450
- lvl 51 / 55
I used medium trained Isabella, Sophia and Golitsyn. Most Important items were Warhorse, Military Tent +6 and two medium heals (one for the battleship General and one for Sophia, who took out the complete Southwest alone.

Thanks, I did not read this particular thread. So it seems that, in addition, you have at least 300 stars to get Lan. Seems I have to wait and keep trying.

After that I tried to see if it is duable in America 1775 and I got 550 years with Britain (sorry, but I didn't screenshot) I would advise you to play as Britain in 1775 as it is much easier to get the resources. You can do it in less than 30 turns (you have the warhorse).  |

With the result of your HRE1798 conquest you should be able to get Victoria, too. If not right now, then very soon. Save that Save! How many years did you get in Europe?
Hmm.. very funny, btw: Everybody is talking about Spain and the Ottomans, who are so resilient in HRE1798, but in quite a lot of screenshots, I see that port in Brittany which falls as last....

It really is a matter of distance. We throw ourselves at France on turn 1, so it holds out less than Spain. And the port of Bretagne is just far, not hard |

There are mainly two reasons for that. 1) You forget it (can happen) 2) You don't use and generals for it and your main troops are already in Spain |

That Bretagne is the last target never happened to me. For me it's always some place (either the harbor or factory) in Norway

Hooray! I got Lan! Finally!
The initial point is America 1775 as US, turn 26, 5200 gold, 2010 iron, 9300 food.
Still the same scenario, and still same results: 500 Asia/800 America
But the difference is progress. Two weeks before I had 254/420 stars, and starting HRE campaign.
Now I finished HRE campaign, have 301 stars, and, suddenly:
turn 26, 5200 gold, 2010 iron, 9300 food get still 500 years Asia, but 850 years America!
So I try to wait and build more resources (thanks Jackson, you're business star), and: turn 29, 9999 gold, 3301 iron, 9215 food, 550 years Asia, and Lan!
Hmm, I would bet that exactly this stats I tried two weeks ago with only 500 years Asia, so the difference must be the 301 campaign stars.
Is it possible that you would not get Lan even if you finished conquest within 20 turns with full resources, as long as you do not have at least 300 campaign stars?
Well, what next. Yes, Victoria, the last one...
