Hello everybody! Today, I would like to show you the easiest way you can farm for ranks/refreshes. Now, I'm not sure about the exact value, but you get approx. 1% of a refresh in the academy per kill. For ranks, it's probably 1 medal for 100 damage dealt, again, not sure about the exact value. Anyways, let's get back to the topic: The fastest way of making a scenario for S&L farming is to get your general (preferably a cav one) half-surounded with troops he can 1 shot and ready to move. To achieve those requirements, the easiest way of doing is is by unallying your biggest allies and finding a good place to "wait" in the corner with your troops until your allies are dead and you're surrounded (best place for this is the SW corner in Europe 1815). After that, you should weaken the troops that are close to the front and then move your cav general in the middle of the enemy and 1 shot them all. Before the attack:  I usually kill 1 troop with Victoria, wound 1 with Isabela and kill 7 with Lan. After the attack: Per 1 S&L I get 9% of a refresh  Summary: Personally, I would advise you to have 2 save slots available for your reset/rank (for cavalry generals open) : 1. Save a game when you have your elite troops (armored car, MG's and heavy arty in the corner) and before you put any of your generals down. 2. Have a saved game when your cavaly hero can move and when he is surrounded by troops he can 1 shot (look at the 1.st picture) Hopefully you people found this helpful Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! |

Rank is tough. Great if you have a unit that can deal tons of damage.(SA, MG, AC, CF)
For refresh, I usually make a lot of generals what can be killed in one hit, and kill them at the same turn. Easy to make in conquests, Battle of Three Emperors is also nice.

There is also Fire of Revolution where you can kill D'avout and Moreau in turn one giving you 6 percent

I have found ( on the internet) an easier but it will take a little bit longer 1798 France just defend France until round 60 ( there will be a huge pile of inf in in central europe) then make a Double Car with your cav gen send him to the pile just farm thete but dont forget to save if he dies |

I tried 10 times. 8 times I got 4%, 2 times I got 3%.

It maybe,weak units or dieing,get you less.
Not really sure on this,but killing generals or with one will get you more refresh %.

Very good spot is to play Russia in coalition campaign, (forgot the the name, but is the one with Alexander the 1st). There you can farm Oudinot, Murat, Lannes, Davout, and a ton of other French guys. I would recommend making Austria Neutral so they don't interfere with farming.

Also, I killed all of those French generals in the campagn, and only Lasalle nobility increased... What!?!?! I want his rank (health, green bar) to increase. How do you increase Rank (green bar)
