Anyone play Freeciv alot? I love it. If none of you play it its like Civ but free and has more tech and civilizations and in some versions custom techs. You can play as almost any actual or some made up civilizations from a hackers union to the berbers to the germanics to the confederate states of america to (in an old version this existed srs) the people of Cake and her icingness.

If you are talking about Civ1, Civ2, yes it's like Civ. But it's nothing like the Civ3 I love.

It's really more of slanted towards Civ 1 & 2. A lot more than Civ3. It was even mentioned in one of their FAQs that they would not implement a Civ3 version of Freeciv, only civ 1, 2, and hybrid (1.5).
