Hello, I just got up to the North America campaign. I have about 200 of the stars that let you get upgrades saved up. You start only with light cav, light artillery, up to light infantry, and only privateer for naval units. What upgrades should I get, and how many stars must I save for Sun Never Sets?

I'd focus on generals and equipment. Get the snare drum (Battle of Jena/Prussian Counterattack) and maybe a tent if you have the medals. I used Berthier Golitsyn Sophia Isabela Sulkowski It was rather easy compared to SNS

SNS starts off with similar tech to try to use only half.

I'd say unlock guards, heavy and guards cav, frigate, and heavy artillery. Everything else is fluff

It's good for survivability and more than often people have a tent than something like defensive items. It's good for ships (if it works on them) or artillery

If you mean campaign stars then unlock heavy and possibly guards cav. Normally I don't unlock anything since I can use those stars and trade them for medals

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll probably end up getting up to guards cav, possibly guards, heavy arty, and maybe a naval unit

But are you spend your precious turns in campaigns for letting tent trigger? Or in a speed conquest, or almost anywhere for that matter? Tent: switching battlefield, or staying at safe non-city area. Defense: tough battle.
