I do not have any problems with mods, try deleting them and reinstalling them. If that doesn't work, try deleting the game files (or move them to a different location, if you want to keep your files as a backup or you dont want to loose any games) and then run the game so new files will be installed.

Right now one of the most enjoyable mods I am playing is the espionage mod. It adds a espionage feature to the game and lets you get spies. These spies can do stuff like sabotage enemy production, research, military planning. Its pretty fun to influence a war with directly taking part. I can even send spies to study enemy technology and get their tech. I would highly recommend it.

Been looking at the dev diaries and I am really excited for whats coming in the man the guns expansion. I always thought the USA focus tree was the weakest tree the majors have and after seeing The USA reworked focus tree I say it looks great. As the USA it was really boring till 1942 because you couldn't really do anything. Now they added a new congress system and opportunities to get involved earlier. Also the UK is getting its focus tree reworked as well and I really like the ALT History opportunity to take a more aggressive stance against Germany.

What we know is 2 new focus tress will also be added and I can't wait to see what countries those are for. Only clue is the 2 countries will have something to do with the USA or the UK.

Even after awhile HOI4 is still one of my favourite games.

I recently got the Battle for the Bosphorus expansion and I am playing a Turkey game where I restore the Ottoman Empire. Right now I am in a alliance with the restored Central Powers and fighting the Międzymorze. I am trying to push through Yugoslavia

Eventually the Międzymorze is crushed and they surrender. 2 factors that shift the tide in our victory were the coup in Italy which bring Italy into the Central Powers and the Soviets declaring war on Poland which brought the Comintern into war with Międzymorze.

Now the Soviets declared war on Finland which has made them at war with the Central Powers. I want to get the Hardly Anything Sèvres achievements so I leave the Central Powers and declare war on Italy with the war goal from my focus tree. I accept a invite from the Soviet Union to join their faction.

A number of central powers troops were struck in the land of my puppets and they were able to hold some land. I leave these enemy troops for my puppets to take care of

I made some progress in clearing the Central Powers from the Balkans and major progress is made when Austria-Hungary surrenders. Now this is big opportunity to strike at the heart of the German Empire
