In my opinion, Supply, Plain Fighting, and Explosives are must-have skills. The last two slots are for customization.

In my opinion, Supply, Plain Fighting, and Explosives are must-have skills. The last two slots are for customization. Considering that there are only 3 eye-covered ones, they are indeed. I'll also put bayonet charge / tide of iron / artillery barrage to the list too. Arguably, blitzkrieg is also a must for tank.

In my opinion, Supply, Plain Fighting, and Explosives are must-have skills. The last two slots are for customization. Yeah I agree supply to keep your gen alive out there explosive to take out cities super quick and plain fighting the most common fighting ground lvl 4 plain fighting deals 20 additional damage which really criples the enemy ....the other two slots depends if you want an artillery gen then you must pick barrage and ace forces if you need a tank gen tide of iron and anti armour and also need blitzkreig. ...

For me it will always be this standard:
LV. 5 The unit the general is focused on. Lv. 5 Air LV. 5 Movement Lv. 4 Plain Fighting LV. 4 Explosive LV. 4 Supply Lv. 4 "Extra output when below half health" LV. 4 No retaliation ability (If artillery, it's artillery leader)
