Rooting is great cause it gets rid of bloatware,that crap that cell phone companies preinstall into your phone.
Also great for gamers to hack or mod games.
But..lots of phone dont root well,you also make yourself vulnerable to hacks,it can void your warranty,can outright brick your phone.

Some phones can be rooted very easily like a 1 button push,boom you are done.
Some phones requires a long series of step by step process with back ups and pc use and there is a real possibility of ending up with a dead phone if a mistake happens and that will not be covered by the warranty.
Some phone cannot be roted at all.

Don't you hate it when people say or post that rooting is easy! Clueless and annoying to think just because their phone is easy to root then it must be the same for everyone else.
