Where do you prefer to live? In a city, a town, on a farm or totally demoted?
For me, i cant imagine myself living in a city. I just cant seem to like not seeing much nature and having little space in house. But i also dont want to live completely demoted from society. For me its a nice small town, like 1000 inhabitants.

You don't have the option I would pick: Metropolis.
For me, the quality of life is vastly different in comparison to a city of 400,000 in comparison to a true metropolis of 1 million or over. The bigger the city, the quality of healthcare can be better if you look in the right place. Also, job prospects are far better in metropolitan areas than just citywide.
But...
On the other hand, living on a plot of land near a town market would be highly livable. You could develop a portion of the land specifically to grow timber for a few years before harvesting it. Or you could even operate a solar farm.
My personal preference would be floatovoltics. The water would assist in thermal dispersal and promote electrical power production efficiency for the solar panels. It's better than setting up the panels on land that would permit the wiring to get heated so much that there would be strong resistance in the wiring, causing loss of efficiency.
Likewise, the land would permit exotic crops if the climate fits the crop selection. It can be very profitable to grow a particular rare crop that are normally imported. You would be able to sell it locally and take in some profit that doesn't have to go into long-distance transportation costs.
Or even raise Agora bunnies for their fur. If you comb off the topcoat and combine it with sheep wool as a base for spindle the wool into yarn, Agora yarn is very expensive and can be profitable.
A city ia just lacking the benefits of living in a true metropolis or the benefits of living in the countryside. No thanks, but I went ahead and click on city to signify Metropolis for me.

Suburbs>Everything else. Schools are nice, people are fair, enviroment is well kept, minimal traffic, preferable place to raise children (rural areas are too). But don't get me wrong, cities are still fun AF.

I rather stick to a city, villages have their own benefits but a city guy can't adjust easily in a village.

I like small cities like Canberra. Not too big (like Sydney) and not too small
Also what does demoted mean in this context?

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. It's a large-area spawling metropolis (fairly low population density but still fairly high total population within 50 miles, about 2.5 millions). I've lived in Oklahoma City for 1 year, it has about 400,000 and it feels SMALL to me. I've also lived in Rochester, NY for 4 months which is similar in population but set in a far smaller area of sq. miles. I've recently lived 5 years in GA just across the border from Chattanooga, TN (population about 275k in total - the 400k-ish estimate on Wikipedia is a BS lie). It feels crazy small, tiny, puny, insignificant and badly designed for a city. Now, I'm in the Pensacola area (FL), it's somewhat larger than Chattanooga but smaller than OKC. I still feel like a city is small until it has about 1 million population within the area.

Netherfreek, just let you know that "demoted" would be better expressed as "remote" in English. Not my first language either.
