If you could hire any generals from any academies (no medal constraint), what your best combination of 6 generals would be?

Govorov Guderian Vasilevskiy (or Yamashito as an alternative) Goering Patton Konev (or Leeb as a cheaper alternarive) Yamamoto (could be used as an aircraft carrier general very effectively) There are seven, but there should be place for one admiral

1/Guderian: tank Berlin 2/Govorov: artillery Moscow 3/Romel: tank Berlin 4/leeb: artillery Berlin
Undecided if I want these:
Donitz:best navy admiral Berlin academy(excluding aircraft cariers)or yamamato Tokyo academy.
Yamashita: best inf general,Tokyo academy.
Konev good health and mobility on artillery general, just lousy price on mixed field skills.Moscow academy.
Goering:supposedly air/missile strike very important play style and he is very good at it.Berlin academy.

I cant decide either because in 1939 era we need artillery generals more than we need tank generals because of no access to heavy tanks, and 1939 is the only era that gives steel. 43,50 and 60 tank generals are good to have.
Guderian Patton Govorov Badaglio Goering Yamamato

I am thinking about that too. It's probably too tiring for Goering to run around the battlefield alone. Currently I still have the last seat in my lineup vacant so I am considering who would take that seat.

He could be used both air and navy (the best one, that could be extremely effective while leading aircraft carrier).

Yamamoto could be a good choice considering that he is also a capable navy general and have 3 stars in movement (1 extra hex for ship and moves 5 hex with motorized infantry)" then I put down my device, checked the board, and saw you post this.

Absolutely, he is much more useful then Goering in my list. I mean he is same effective while used as an air striker, but at the same time he could go navy which is important for some missions.

I liked yamamoto because he is so flexible, he can not only do air and navy (fantastic on an aircraft carrier)but he can also do artillery. On rocket artillery he moves fairly decent due to his 3 stars in movement, his damage is ok based on his 3 stars in artillery, and he call call air strikes once he gets to an airport. Nothing beats Goring on that air role though, because he earn extra income while he is camped in a major airport city and defend well as a spec force or can move much faster deep inside enemy territory on a motorized infantry.

Maybe we should made another list in another thread for the cheapest but great value starter generals, cause most of these that we are looking at here are expensive.
