Greetings and welcome to our newest game modification board. For everyone enjoyment and ease of use please follow these guidelines:
1.Thread tittle should include the name of the original game then the name of the modication like this [EW4 WW2] so now we know for example that the original game is European war 4 and the modication name is WW2 or world war 2.
If you are linking an install from google drive or elsewhere add the word "install" in the thread tittle so it would now look like this [EW4 WW2] (install)
2.If you know that there is a suspicious permission (the SMS permission for example) added to the mod apk that was not in the original game mention it in your post and hopefully Jean-Luc Picard or others will try to get rid of it.
3.Always give credit to the original creator(s) of the mod if he (they) are known. If Modders names are known add them somewhere in you post.
4. Scan every mod with virustotal.com (scan webpage and file). If it is flagged by even one, talk to saltin or Jean-Luc Picard with screenshots. We will decide whether it is safe.
5. Failure to follow rule 4 may have consequences
NB:Almost all game modification comes from the Chinese community and most are not translated yet.
To best enjoy game mods: you must first undestand what they are not about.Game modifications are not perfect, they are not your dream come true, they are not the perfect balance you always knew your favorite game should have had, they are not made by a team of highly specialized programmers making $100k a year and waiting to build the most ideal game just for you.
Ok..so look most likely the modifications are made as a hobby by some sharp dude in his basement and in his offtime so the rest of us can have some fun with a new twist on our favorite games.
Then just lower your expectations,go in with the right frame of mind, ignore the inevitable flaws from the mod and just have a good time playing something different.
NB: There hasnt been a decision made on staffing this board just yet,so untill that happens I ask everyone for their patience and appropriate behavior.
Edit: Fixed!
