Nuke defense?

Big cities getting nuked left and right,how can I defend against that,or at least reduce the damage ? Skills? air defense? How is the computer deciding if and what it will nuke?

Try to have wesk forces in capitals that can't be taken from the enemy via parachuting. If you buy the technology for air defense you can also get protection from nukes how much it protects depends on it's level.

. Anyway, as mentioned above, anti-air missile can help reduce the damage but you need to upgrade the tech at your HQ in order to make it available. So I do the same thing eraycem says; having cheap units stay in the cities and my generals are elsewhere. Still, my generals are ninja-assassinated by nuke from times to times.

Houses are highly illiquid assets with huge idiosyncratic risk, funded by a short position in bonds.
