How can we start? I use a Gameboy Colour Advanced, and PC Emulator for this game now, unfortunately, however this is likely one of my next acquisitions. You play as a bad*** named Simon Belmont, in the late 1600s. You're goal is to find and kill Dracula, though throughout the games theres always some stupid new reason for him to be back, but they are logical. Its a side scroller adventure game at its finest, working at the best of the NES. You collect ammunition which comes in the sprite of a heart found in various breakables. You can collect different weapons and increase your flails length, which starts as a simple whip. There are also different range weapons. Unfortunately, the game is plagued by terrible floating Gorgon heads which have given me permanent PTSD. It is a game done in its greatest. The second Castlevania, Simon's Quest, is Godawful however is fun if you can get through the difficulties. It is more an RPG and the hearts are more currency than ammo. Trust me, Zelda has nothing on this game. Here are some screenshots. In later games, you can play as multiple people, such as Alucard. Any fan of Dracula can point out that Alucard is his son :-) .org/image/cx1832gsx/] .org/image/575vjpos7/] .org/image/fhngal7zr/] .org/image/ohyzkml5d/]
